2004 IA Summit
27-29 February, 2004 - Austin Hilton, Austin, Texas

Online Registration is open!

“Breaking New Ground”
http://www.iasummit.org/

This year's Summit focuses on two domains -- strengthening the foundation of the discipline, and widening the scope of IA practice. Here's a sneak preview of topics to be covered:

Strengthening the foundation
Central IA concepts and methodologies, taxonomies, content management, ROI, enterprise IA, international IA, accessibility, and other fundamentals of the craft.

Widening the scope
IA for new platforms, lessons from the world of gaming, social networks, contributions from disciplines such as ethnography and interaction design, artificial intelligence, and new ways of doing IA in traditional settings.

However, the best reason to come is to connect with your peers. Whether you're an IA veteran, a practitioner in a related discipline, or a newcomer to the field, you'll gain energy and inspiration that will carry you through until the 2005 Summit!
