The discussion on display resolution was quite interesting.
However it does not seem to answer a question I have been asking
myself for some time.
I understand that color screens (at least some of them) have
physical pixels on the screen.
Then, if the sreen area is fixed, i do not seen how the logical
resolution can be anything but a divider of the maximum physical
resolution. The point I am trying to make is that, if this is not
the case, then the beam will not always fall in the same position with
respect to physical dots. Hence not all physical locations will give
the same dot quality.
My reasonning may be faulty? Could anyone enlighten me.
