The J. Robert Van Pelt Library has openings for four professional librarian positions. The Library is looking for: 1) Head of Technical Services. As manager of the Technical Services department, this librarian will oversee the acquisition, cataloging, and processing of publications in all formats including electronic. 2) Reference/Instruction Librarian with a Government Document emphasis. As a member of the Reference Team, this librarian will participate in the delivery of reference service, provide course-integrated instruction and orientations, and serve as documents specialist. 3) Catalog Librarian. This position is responsible for cataloging and classification in all formats, original and copy cataloging, catalog maintenance and correction, and authority control. 4) Part-Time 30-hour/week Reference and Research Services Librarian position. In addition to being part of the Reference Team, this librarian participates in collection management processes and projects. All four positions require a Master's Degree from an ALA accredited library or information science program.
