Functional and regression testing of software

DALNET, a consortium of 22 libraries in South Eastern Michigan, is a
Horizon site with 18 separate Horizon databases. Each time our ILS vendor
issues a new version of Horizon we perform extensive testing of that
version against each of our member databases, a process that takes
considerable time. To speed our ability to implement upgrades, and to
provide better member service, we are investigating the feasibility of
automating our testing regime for new versions of the ILS software. We're
looking at automated testing applications such as Segue's Silk offering
http://www.segue.com We would like to know if any other library or library
organization is using such software and, if so, which product.
