The UT-Arlington Libraries are re-posting our vacant Voyager SysAdmin
position. Please note the following:

Systems Librarian
The University of Texas at Arlington Libraries seeks applications for the
position of Systems Librarian in the Libraries' Information Technologies
unit. The Systems Librarian is responsible for the management of the
integrated library management system (Voyager). This position is the first
point of contact for issues related to the operation and implementation of
the Voyager system. The Systems Librarian works with other members of the
IT unit, along with other members of the Libraries' staff, to maintain and
troubleshoot problems with the Voyager system and to investigate and
implement advanced functionality and enhancements to the system. The
Systems Librarian assists in the generation of on-demand management reports
and data extracts from Voyager as required to support the needs of the
Libraries. The Systems Librarian reports to the Libraries' Coordinator of
Information Technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ALA accredited Masters degree or equivalent Masters degree; experience with
Microsoft operating systems, including Windows NT and/or Windows 2000;
working knowledge of computer networking technologies, the Internet,
web-based services, and current developments in library applications of
information technologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years experience in an academic library setting; experience with
integrated library management systems; experience working in a Unix system
environment.
SALARY:
Entry Level: Minimum of $36,800
Experienced (3 years or more): Minimum of $40,250
plus standard benefits
