There is no better commercial product. No, I don't work for them,
have just been a happy user for almost five years.
Accuracy? It uses every log entry. I doubt you'll need any customer
service or support from them, but it is fine from my very limited
contact with them.
You can get more reports than you can imagine, and can track anything
that is logged. We also use it to analyze proxy logs (all of our
public workstations go through a proxy server so that we can block
access to email, chat, and games) to determine what words are being
searched, what sites are most visited, and so forth. Collection
development people find this data interesting and of some value, as it
has given them some clues on areas of the print collection that need
development.
I believe that you can download it and try it out for thirty days or
so, so give it a shot. I think you'll like it.
