Please respond to me directly at lmatson@spfldcol.edu. I'll post a summary to
the list.
We are struggling with ways to keep Napster and Napster-like services from using
all of our bandwidth. Our campus IT department has chosen to block port
numbers, but this prevents access to at least one of the library's online
subscriptions as well as to many scholarly pages on the Net.
Are you presently blocking Napster use on your campus? How is this implemented?
