ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES. The Dayton &
Montgomery County Public Library is seeking applicants for the position
of Assistant Director for Information Technology Services. This senior
management position serves on the Library’s Administrative Council and
reports to the Director. The successful applicant will have the
leadership, planning and budgetary skills to develop, implement and
manage a comprehensive and innovative technology program. Will be
responsible for all library information systems including Internet,
intranet and local integrated library systems. Will directly supervise
a staff of eight.
Qualifications: Masters degree from an ALA accredited program; Minimum
five years experience in a public library setting; Management
experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in managing current
information technologies. Experience with DRA a plus.

Starting salary $59,039 with excellent fringe benefits. Position
available in December 2000.
