Blazej,
I'm not sure about most people's habits, but I note that searches depend
very much on the type of user.
I get the feeling that people who are beginning the exploratory phase of
research do subject searches and keyword searches.
People looking for a specific book do title searches.
People who know what they are looking for and know the literature well
often do author searches, simply because an author search will also reveal
other titles or recent work by the same author.
