Indiana State University Library has the following tenure track
positions available.
ASSISTANT DEAN FOR LIBRARY SERVICES. 12-month, tenure-track position.
Primary responsibilities include working closely with Associate Dean
for Library Services in a management team structure. Provide creative
leadership in planning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating
day-to-day library operations including personnel, budget, facilities.
Requires ALA-accredited Masters in Library Science, in Information
Science, or equivalent degree. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated
achievement and progressively responsible administrative experience in
an academic library. Proven ability to solve problems creatively and
communicate effectively. Outstanding oral, written, interpersonal
communication skills. Salary dependent on faculty rank for which
candidate qualifies; ranging in the 50s.

CATALOG LIBRARIAN. Entry-level, 12-month tenure-track position.
Primary responsibilities include cataloging, editing shared/original
cataloging copy of monographic works in various formats, and associated
authority work. Some reference and bibliographic instruction. May
participate in general collection development. May include some evening
and weekend hours. Requires ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent degree.
Salary dependent on faculty rank for which candidate qualifies; ranging
in

INSTRUCTION/INFORMATION SERVICES LIBRARIAN. Entry-level, 12-month
tenure-track position. Primary responsibilities include providing
reference assistance at the Information Desk, and participating in
active library instruction program by teaching classes, planning and
conducting thematic workshops, participating in Learning Communities
and assisting in production of instructional support materials. May
participate in general collection development. Involves some evening
and weekend hours. Requires ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent degree.
