Head of Reference, Assistant or Associate Professor. Administer 8 FTE
faculty, staff, all reference services,including general reference,
interlibrary loan, electronic services, bibliographic instruction, and
reference collection
development. Provides direct reference assistance. Must meet faculty
requirements for librarianship, research,publication, and service.
Required: MLS from ALA-accredited program. Minimum 5 years increasingly
responsible
experience; demonstrated supervisory experience; communication skills;
experience with computer applications including electronic information
resources and Internet. Preferred: Experience in academic or research
library; additional
graduate degree. Salary: $40-45,000: Nine months. Summer appointment
usually available with additional salary. Tenure track faculty appointment.
