ELECTRONIC RESOURCES CATALOGER: This position will establish practices
and procedures for providing intellectual access to electronic journals,
text files, and online databases, and provide high quality cataloging of
electronic resources. This position prepares special collections for use
by developing finding aids / research tools, encoding them for online
use, creating electronic images and linking them to the finding aids and
creating catalog records for the collections; serves as a member of the
library

those skills in an academic library; ability to communicate effe=
ctively
with colleagues, patrons, and volunteers; ability to work in a
cross-functional team environment.
PREFERRED: experience with coding finding aids in EAD and knowle=
dge of
XML
SALARY AND BENEFITS: $30,000 minimum. Good benefits package
