One of the dark spots of PACS-L, for me, was when people began to spend
more time complaining about the Gutenberg project and Vigdor mailings
than discussing actual library questions. Maybe all the library
questions went into abeyance during that time, or maybe the list had
just reached its 'grumpy old professor' stage.
Here's a juicy question for the list: what is the responsibility of the
library with regard to its primary clients if they are coming in through
an interface designed for external users? Nowadays, with the drive for
external and internal web sites, things get complicated.
