Awhile back, there were some inquiries on UMI ProQuest vs Infotrac.
I have just finished an article in CD-Professional entitled "Comparing
CD-ROM Products for Academic Library Patrons: UMI and InfoTrac" by
Paula Burks and Susan C. Harris. It is in the March 1992 issue, p.33-
The article is a survey of the user population by workstation usage,
general satisfaction, level of satisfaction and need for instruction.
For those who are interested or planning to invest in UMI or Infotrac,
it might be useful.
