Walt's "not" a "knotty" problem? a "naughty" one?... sorry...

Vigdor ironically / unintentionally provided me with one of my
best "PACS-L moments":

We were debating the advantages and disadvantages of doing
various unmentionable things to Vigdor -- I and a few others
lamely coming to his defence on "free speech / you always have a
'delete' key" grounds -- when Steve Cisler broke in (3/31/94)
with a wonderfully - ringing phrase --

"First, they came for Vigdor. Then they came for Rush and
Howard and Camille and Geraldo and Barney and Joe Camel..."

I've used this -- paraphrased but always giving credit -- in many
"free speech" discussions since. Greatly indebted.

Not that I want to read Vigdor again, either -- I agree with
Walt's disclaimer -- but there's always that "delete" key.
