VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
TITLE: SENIOR LIBRARIAN
LOCATION: Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology
DESCRIPTION: MSU-Great Falls College of Technology is seeking a full-time
librarian to provide mid-management supervision to all operations associated
with the College's Library. Will be part of a creative management team that
includes librarians from MSU's libraries in Bozeman, Billings, Havre, and
Great Falls. Reports to Associate Dean of the College and to Dean of MSU
Libraries.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Required unless specified) Master's degree from an ALA
accredited program; a minimum of three years of work experience involving
library operations and services, preferably at the post secondary level;
knowledge of and experience with library technology and technical issues;
ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to
schedule and supervise personnel and deal effectively with a wide range of
patrons; strong service orientation.
SALARY RANGE: Low $30K
