This is true, of course, if all one wants to do is download ASCII text
files. However, if Prof. Hart has worked out a wonderful way of preserving
state and/or identity for financial or search transactions without using
something like cookies, I'd love to hear what it is. Or maybe I'm just
doing some 'seriously expert usage' all the time.
Perhaps Prof. Hart needs to read the book _Cookies_ or something else
published since 1923. Of course if we all want the net to stay the same
way it was when he signed up as user #100.......
