The Indianhead Federated Library System (IFLS) in Eau Claire, Wiscons=
in is
soliciting proposals for a turn-key, online, real-time, fully integra=
ted,
shared library computer system on behalf of the L.E. Phillips Memoria=
l
Public Library (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), Chippewa Valley Technical Col=
lege
(Eau Claire, Wisconsin), and seven public libraries in St. Croix Coun=
ty,
Wisconsin.
The project=92s Request for Proposal, its appendices and related info=
rmation
can be viewed and downloaded from the soliciting agency=92s web site
(http://www.ifls.lib.wi.us). The response deadline is April 16, 1999.
The system must be expandable to include other libraries as they=92re=
prepared
to join the group. Besides application software, the system must incl=
ude
central site hardware, system software, file migration, delivery,
installation, training, and ongoing support. Please see the RFP for t=
