HI,
I am a relatively new librarian. I have found that we have to know
a lot about computers in order to get the library work done. I was
enrolled in a distance learning course called "Postgraduate diploma in
Information Technology", but it only taught Pascal programming, data
structures, etc., which does not help me to deal with the problems of
the computers in my daily work. Is there any distance learning course
out there that addresses particularly the management of computers (both
hardware and software) in the library?
Thanks.
Pepper Smith
