Please forgive any duplication to lists. I am looking for any institution
which has cataloged the Library of American Civilization collection of
ultrafiche. More specifically, any institution that has used the
cataloging done by Mankato State University for OCLC's Major Microform Set
(the cataloging 3-letter symbol is ACV). Anyone who has done this and
would be willing to share with us the following information - LAC number
and corresponding OCLC number, will help us to correct both our holdings on
OCLC and in our own catalog. This information will allow us to quickly
"fix" a problem created in the late '70's and affecting thousands of
bibliographic records. Due to this "error", we receive requests on a
weekly basis for material from this collection which we do not loan.
Correcting this would mean that those who place requests of this material
to us would not be inconvenienced any longer.
