Hi PACS-L folks,
The Electronic Resources Team here at the University of Kentucky is losing
a technician and needs to justify the number of positions we have
responsible for computer hardware in our libraries (PC's, printers,
scanners, bar code readers, etc.) We support about 500 PCs, and currently
have one hardware technician and one library technician, who has diverse
responsibilities.
Please drop us a note and let us know how many PC's you have in your
library system and how many staff members (FTE) you have supporting them.
We've always been understaffed in this area and are hoping to justify
keeping the position where the staff member is leaving.
If there is interest, results will be posted to this list.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
