POSITION AVAILABLE
The National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder has an opening for a
Technical Information Specialist. This is a federal government position at the
GS-9 level, with a salary range of $31,897-41,470, located at the VA Medical
Center in White River Junction, Vermont.
The duties of this position include assisting in the preparation and
maintenance of the PILOTS database, an electronic index to the worldwide
traumatic stress literature. The incumbent will have primary day-to-day
responsibility for selecting and evaluating documents, and for indexing those
documents using the PILOTS Thesaurus. The incumbent will also participate in
the preparation of National Center publications and answer enquiries from
veterans and their families, researchers and clinicians, and members of the
public.
