Colleagues
this message is being cross-posted to BUSLIB, so apologies for any
duplication.
The dedicated PC on which we run Business Periodicals on Disc has
burnt out one of its CD-ROM drives.
Our Systems staff tell us that no more CD-ROM drives are being made
which accept CD-ROM discs in caddies (ie those hinged plastic boxes
in which the BPO discs are supplied.)
If any participant on this list has knowledge of any such product
still being marketed, I would be most grateful. At present this
problem is rendering our holdings of BPO completely unusable.
Thanks in advance for any leads you can give.
Regards
Guy
