This workshop will examine the issues and challenges=20
of evaluating the quality of Internet information resources.=20
It is directed at librarians and information professionals=20
that may be considering building electronic resource=20
collections, developing Internet-based services or=20
instructing users in the effective use of digital=20
information. This workshop will provide an overview=20
of the problems of Internet information and the challenges=20
for evaluation. Implementation experiences by the developers=20
of subject gateway services and other projects that=20
illustrate key issues and technologies in building=20
high-quality Internet resources and services will be=20
highlighted.
