We removed the reset buttons from our public machines, which was really
easy with this model (Dell OptiPlex). If they push the power button on
these machines, Win95 begins its auto-shutdown routine, so that really
isn't a problem. I don't know of anyone unplugging them. Yikes.

Cord locks on the wall is one way to prevent the unplugging of the
computer as a log-off. They're inexpensive and can be found at
industrial safety supply resources, or large industrial wholesalers such
as Garinger's. As to how to keep people from rebooting, I don't know.

I think the Saudi approach and slicing off their right hands should do
the trick :-) [left hands for lefties]
We are hoping soon to get the appropriate furniture to keep the CPU away
from the patron, or as far as possible. If they aren't downloading to A
drive they don't even need to see the CPU.

When we catch it, we fix it. Otherwise we don't worry about it.
