We are working on a Web-based multimedia project for the University of
Texas System. This tutorial will teach students basic information literacy
skills in a problem based learning environment. Before releasing the final
product, we would like to gather student input. We plan to have
approximately 200 students to evaluate the tutorial.

We would like to hear from others who have experience conducting research
using students in a library environment.

 - How do you compensate the students?
 - Do you pay them? How much?
 - Do you offer class credit?
 - Are there any unique or interesting ways to get students involved?

Please respond to me and I will summarize for the list. If you would like
to see more information about the tutorial, check out the project summary
at http://www.lib.utsystem.edu/texasinfolit/TILT.html.

Thanks for your help,
