LIBRARY GRADUATE ASSISTANTS: Mankato State University seeks
individuals with a master's degree in library science who wish to pursue a
subject master's degree while gaining professional experience in an academic
library. Positions available in several areas including reference, government
publications, interlibrary loan, instruction, educational resource center,
media production, collection development, cataloging, and systems.
Evidence of previous library experience preferred. Assistantship averages 20
hours of work and pays approximately $167 per week for 38 weeks of the
academic year. Summer appointment may be available with additional
compensation. Graduate assistants qualify for in-state tuition and one-half
tuition remission of 4 to 8 graduate credits per semester during the academic
year.
