Teleconference
March 19, 1998 2:30pm - 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time
The Alliance of Library Services Networks, a partnership of more than
15 regional library networks, including OHIONET, is producing an
interactive, two-hour videoconference designed to help librarians
navigate the maze of telecommunications in today's rapidly changing
technological environment. The audience will have the opportunity to
contribute by phone or fax.
This teleconference will:
. Update you on the latest telecommunications and networking technology
. Define terminology to help you communicate with
vendors, consultants, and funding agencies
. Provide criteria that will assist you in selecting hardware
. Provide information that will assist you in planning for the future
