The following questions are being forwarded to the list at the request of
Ernest Perez of our staff, who is currently in China working with the Fujian
Provincial Library. The library is in the preliminary planning stage for an
OPAC/ILS.
1) What vendors support the Chinese character set, using the GBCode mainland
standard protocol?
2) What vendors support the Chinese (CN-MARC) bibliographic record format?
3) What vendors support Z39.50 for the OPAC function?
4) What vendors have a WebPAC module?
