We started using the ATT card about 3 years ago. We had to change
circulation policy to use ID number instead of barcode for campus people
(still use bar code for non-affiliated people.

It is used for normal ID purposes but also as a debit card for vending,
foodservice, copiers and works quite well. Each person gets a monthly
printout showing use--now that is distressing when I see alll those vending
machine charges!
The Library Copy Service gets a daily printout showing use on copy
machines. Money is deposited monthly into our copy account.

Getting all the wiring done, readers connected to copy machines was
difficult, but now all are in and working. We use the ATT readers with our
automation system (clasic NOtis) and they have worked very well.
