Tisch Library at Tufts University desires to verify if it has the
FIRST LIBRARY ENDOWMENT TO RETRAIN TODAY'S LIBRARY
STAFF TO FUNCTION IN THE INCREASINGLY HIGH TECH
DIGITAL LIBRARY. The annual income of approximately
$50,000 from the Berger Family Information Technology
Endowment will be awarded to proposals submitted by teams
of librarians or teams of librarians and academic faculty at
Tufts College of Arts, Sciences & Technology which meet the
criteria (for more information, see Call for Proposals at
http://www.library.tufts.edu/tisch/berger.html). Are there
other digital library staff training endowments? At what
libraries? Who are the contact persons? I am
preparing a press release so I want to get my facts straight.
