ADJUNCT REFERENCE LIBRARIAN (PART-TIME)
Lehman College of The City University of New York (CUNY) seeks an adjunct
reference librarian for 14-20 hours a week, commencing December, 1997. Primary
activities will include general reference desk coverage, bibliographic
instruction to college undergraduate classes, hands-on instruction in use of
electronic sources (an online catalog, LAN-based CD-Rom, and online services
such as Dialog, Nexis, and Internet); and collection development. Position
involves days, a possible evening or weekend coverage. MLS or substantial
progress towards MLS required; and some library experience strongly preferred.
