Hi all!

We are currently developing an automated library system on a 2-tier
Client/Server platform using Windows NT4, MS SQL Server 6.5, Win95 and
Visual Basic 5. Is there anyone who has tried this platform before on
library systems. This platform are usually being used on business solutions
but we find it very ideal on library systems for its SQL and scalability.

We are actually linking 5 libraries in the campus and volumes of over
300,000. We are capturing a wider scope of information not usually found on
traditional library systems such as the behaviour and needs of users, peak
loads to be used in analyzing the resources and for library related
decision making. We are also including a decision support system and much
more.

We are now currently on a prototyping stage.

Have anyone been involve in such a development who is willing to exchange
views, ideas, experiences for the development of this system? We also would
want to share our ideas and experiences on this undertaking.
