Does anyone have suggested specifications regarding the conditions under
which a server should be housed? In particular, I am looking for room
dimensions and appropriate temperature. We currently have a Compaq
Proliant 1500 that is housed in a small office with poor
ventilation. We also have a Windows NT server that we need to house in a
secure area.

We are trying to find some specifications so we can determine if existing
space we have is appropriate or if new space will have to be built.

Thanks in advance for any information. Please reply directly to me at
bustos_ra@mercer.edu as I am on digest mode and only receive mailings
once a day.
