Subject: Using WAIS and GOPHER clients on VMS systems
Has anyone successfully implemented gopher and/or wais clients on their VAX VMS
systems? I am in particular interested in anyone that is using it in a
personal account with just normal user privileges. I have looked at various
clients and can't seem to get them to work. I have not looked into this in
several months. My frustration is that most of the clients seem to need more
than just user privileges.
Please reply directly to me and I post to the list.

Subject: UNIX/NOVELL software
I am given to understand that at the last ALA meeting there was a
presentation by the LITA folks on some software that lets UNIX talk to a
NOVELL network and thence to maybe a CD-ROM mounted on a PC. I have a need
for just this thing. Can anyone shed more light on it for me or point me to
the right folks to communicate with ?

Subject: HANDICAPPED NOTIS WORKSTATIONS
[EXCUSE THE CROSS-POSTING ON NOTIS-L AND PACS-L]
I am interested in finding hardware/software configuations for
handicapped workstations for blind and partly-sighted individuals.
I am especially interested in workstations that primarily access
NOTIS.
Please reply to me directly.
