The Indiana Cooperative Library Services Authority  (INCOLSA)
is the agency responsible for implementing INSPIRE -- a system
to provide access to a suite of databases by every citizen of
the state of Indiana from homes, offices, schools and libraries.
INCOLSA seeks a Project Manager to implement the system.

The University of Delaware Library is seeking a Head, Library Systems
Support Department.  Reporting to the Assistant Director for Library
Computing Systems, the successful candidate for this position will be
involved in challenging information technology activities in a rapidly
evolving environment.  As one of 9.5 FTE staff in the Library Computing
Systems Division, this individual will work closely with the
Coordinator, Library Data and Server Support, in provision and support
of electronic library resources.  Responsibilities include supervision
of two professional and two support staff.

The Department has responsibility for:
1) the maintenance and support of the over 300 PC's installed in the
Library,
2) support of DELCAT, the Library's NOTIS-based online catalog,
3) maintenance and development of the Library's Web site
(http://www.lib.udel.edu),
4) application software training
5) planning for transition to next generation integrated library
system.
Collection development responsibilities with faculty liaison in a
subject area may be assigned.

Qualifications: Required:  ALA accredited master's degree.  Minimum of
four years professional experience.  Strong service orientation.
Demonstrated administrative ability and supervisory experience.
Extensive experience with the use of microcomputers, including Microsoft
Windows.  Demonstrated expertise with a major integrated library
system.  Web maintenance and support experience.  Excellent oral and
written communication skills.  Ability to establish and maintain
effective working relationships with diverse individuals in an evolving
automated environment.  Preferred: Technical experience with UNIX.

Salary: Associate Librarian: range $34,325-57,209.
