My campus has a number of people who use MACs - about 50%
of the students, about 90% of the faculty - all of whom are
connected to the campus network The Libraries subscribe
to a number of CD-ROM databases - the majority of which
only work with the IBM platform. Our long range goals are
to move all databases to a WEB-based medium, but in the
short-term we are looking at solutions that provide access
to the users of MACs. I have seen WEB-based front-end
that can launch a DOS session that will run the CD-ROM and
wondered if there were any products that did both platforms
or the MAC.

Any experience and suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you.
