At last week's ALA annual conference there were quite
a few sessions dealing with library consortia, especially
the provision of electronic resources via library consortia.
I've started some preliminary research into some of the
administrative/management/governance issues for library
consortia. While I am using the standard abstracting and
indexing resources, as well as searching the Web, I
thought that I'd also tap another good resource -- a
few selected discussion groups.
If anyone on PACS-L knows of some good articles or
papers dealing with administrative, managerial and/or
governance aspects of library consortia (especially
consortia that focus on electronic resources), I'd
appreciate hearing from you.
