Hello,

Senator Murkowski of Alaska has presented legislature (S.771) to control
and establish rules for e-mail on the internet.

The full text of this Bill is located at:
http://www.intergov.org/EmailBillText.html
along with his open letter to the
American public http://www.intergov.org/senator.html requesting input.

Congressman Smith of New Jersey has penned the Netizens Protection Act of
1997 which revises the 1934 Telecommunications act to cover the Internet.

We are conducting a public vote on both of these issues at the InterGOV
website..

It is our intent to make these results available to both the Honorable
Senator Murkowski and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and
Transportation for their consideration.

Cast your vote now at: http://www.InterGOV.org

Let your voice be heard.

Best regards,

Michael King
