As the information dribbles in it is becoming apparent that many of
our friends in South Florida and Louisiana are in dire need of help.
I don't have a lot of information, but I do know that the Law Library
at the University of Miami sustained only minor damage, but several
of the faculty and staff have severe damage to their homes. The
University is closed until September 14. I have
no information about other librarians and computer people in the area,
but I assume they too need help. I urge all of you to do what you can.
