At WCLS, we are unanimous that providing word processors et al.,
is not a regular library function. We have not in the past provided
public use typewriters. In two or three of our branches, the respective
Friends group not only has provided typewriters but also has put Macs
with appropriate software into study rooms for the use of the public.
Using the same logic, we do not plan to offer Email when we make
available the Internet to the public.
