Subject: charges for printing

Our library recently expanded its Internet access to the general public.
We currently only charge readers for copies made from two fulltext CD-ROM
workstations. However, we can no longer afford the cost of copies being
made from all our other computers (Internet, online indexes, cd-rom
databases, OPAC, etc.).

We're into reinventing government but not reinventing the wheel. I'd like
to have copies of your public computer copying policies so that
we are as consistent as possible with other academic and large public
libraries. Please FAX your response to Mark Sweeney at 202-707-6128 or to
mswe@loc.gov. Thank you in advance!

P.S. Please include a statement on what you charge for copies from
photocopiers and microfilm reader-printers.
