The Webtools page consists of two major parts:
The first part is internal sources for the University of Rochester
Libraries' staff. These include the Guidelines for Creating and
Maintaining Web Pages, Web Server Standards, Required Elements for the
Library's web pages, Template of headers and footers and How to Use the
Template, and List of Common Elements that can be used in the Library's
web pages.
The second part is Internet resources. These include a How to Create...
section for people who want to learn advanced HTML, HTML Guides and
Manuals for beginners, Image Archives of colors, backgrounds, icons,
lines & bars, bullets, and GIF animations, HTML editors, New Tools for
web design, and promoting tools for wab pages.
The Webtools page was designed for both novice and advanced web page
authors. All the sources in this page were carefully selected and
organized to ensure direct and quick access. More comprehensive but
unevaluated resources are also available in the "More" section of each
category.
