  About the Speaker:
  Dr. Danny P. Wallace is Director of the School of Library
  and Information Science, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.
  With Dr. Connie Van Fleet, he co-edits RQ, the official
  journal of the Reference and Adult Services Division of
  the American Library Association.  Dr. Wallace came to Kent
  in January 1996, from the Louisiana State University School
  of Library and Information Science, where he was Associate
  Dean from August 1989 to December 1995. He has served on the
  faculties of the University of Iowa, the University of
  Illinois (where he received his Ph.D.),  at Indiana
  University, at University of North Texas, and at Louisiana
