MEL-News is an electronic mailing list for users and fans of the Michigan
Electronic Library. MEL-News is sponsored by the MLink Program at the
University of Michigan.
Who can subscribe?
Anyone with an interest in the Michigan Electronic Library or in new
Internet resources would benefit from subscribing to MEL-News. The list has
an open subscription, so anyone can join. You do need to
have your own Internet electronic mail account.
What will I receive in my electronic mailbox?
Subscribers will receive announcements and descriptions of electronic
resources added to the Michigan Electronic Library. Discussion of Internet
resources and the Michigan Electronic Library is welcome and
encouraged! The archives for MEL-News can be found at
http://mlink.umich.edu/mel-news.html
How do I subscribe?
To subscribe to MEL-News send an e-mail message to majordomo@mlink.umich.edu
Leave the subject line blank. In the text of your message write:
subscribe mel-news [your email address]
Leave off the brackets [ ] and replace the words your email address above
with your real, legal Internet e-mail address. Then send your message,
leaving off your signature if your e-mail software automatically appends it.
You will receive a reply from majordomo@mlink.umich.edu with an important
message containing information about posting to the list and unsubscribing
from the list. SAVE THIS MESSAGE!
