This fall at the University of Delaware Library, we released a web-based
set of "library lessons" that is linked to our home page. The lessons
are called "The Virtual Library Tutor."
The Tutor is intended for freshmen English 110 students to read
through in order to gain basic library skills. The Tutor consists of
text, screen captures, and some interactive pages.
Originally, the lessons were on Macintosh's in our Microcomputing Site in
Hypercard. The Hypercard lessons were written by Reference Librarian
Patricia Arnott Working with Pat, I re-wrote the contents of the Tutor to
reflect new databases in the Library and marked up the text with HTML.
