As a result of a campus-wide initiative to upgrade technology and to
do so rapidly, USCA's Campus Technology Committee has charged all
units to develop a plan to incorporate information technology into
the planning that we already do.
The library is using NOTIS, CD-ROM, public Internet terminals, LAN,
and numerous other applications. My question is this: Do any of the
libraries from the smaller institutions represented on this list have tech
plans? And if you do, would you be willing to share? Please reply to me
directly, as I am the person that gets to coordinate this effort for the
University
of South Carolina-Aiken Library. We are a public, four-year college
that offers 1 Masters degree at the present time. Our headcount is
about 3500 and FTE student count is about 2600.
