I will be teaching an undergraduate course about using online resources,
mainly library databases and the internet, to gather and then present
information on a particular topic. It will cover searching, evaluating,
organizing and presenting such information (via the web). Does anyone
know of a book covers such topics? I've got several that cover
researching on the internet, but they don't include library databases.
The books I already have include:
Campbell & Campbell, The Student's Guide to Doing Research on the Internet
Clark, Student's Guide to the Internet
Harris, An Internet Education
Reddick & King, The Online Student
Rowland & Kinnaman, Researching on the Internet
Tilton, Every Student's Guide to the Internet
Any other suggestions? Any opinions on any of the above mentioned books?
