The Texas/Oklahoma Chapter of ASIS Presents:
Integrating Information Resources into the Business Environment
A one-Day Seminar, Friday, September 11, 1992, at The University of Texas
School of Law, 727 E. 26th Street, Austin, Texas.
Timothy Ruefli, Daniel B. Stuart Centennial Professor in the
Application of Computers to Business and Management, The
University of Texas, will deliver the keynote address at 11:00 a.m. in
the Law School Courtroom.
Lunch is on your own.
The afternoon session, beginning at 1:30 p.m., will be devoted to a
panel discussion. Panelists will include the following faculty members
from The University of Texas at Austin:
Wayne Danielson, Dewitt C. Reddick Regents Chair in
Communications;
Drew Racine, Deputy Director, General Libraries;
Henry Hu, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, School of
Law.
Also on the panel will be Cheryl Lehnertz, Regional Manager for Dow
Jones News Retrieval. The program will conclude with a reception in
the Law School's Sheffield Room.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Law School. A chapter business
meeting will be at 10 a.m.
There is no fee for ASIS members. The cost for non-members is $15
to pre-register or $20 at the door. If you are interested in attending
the seminar, please return the attached registration form to Roy
Mersky, The University of Texas School of Law, 727 E. 26th Street,
Austin, Texas 78705. The deadline for pre-registration is September
4, 1992.
