BEYOND IP CHECKING: IS PUBLIC KEY THE ANSWER? (AND IF NOT...)
The LITA Secure Systems and Services Interest Group will be presenting a
discussion on user authentication at the ALA Annual Meeting. David
Barber, Director of Development for the Ohio Library and Information
Network (OhioLINK) will present an overview of current and forthcoming
technologies to manage user authentication in a network environment where
fewer and fewer users can be identified simply by their IP number.
Secure Systems and Services will meet Monday morning, 9:30-11:00, in
Javits - 2D 5.
